the word "best". For something to be the best, it must be better than everything else, naturally. However, when one is referring to the abilities of a steering system within a vehicle, "best" only applies at one finite point of operation at which "best" is a quantitatively accurate analysis. Because the vehicle operates at various speeds within varying road conditions and with varying traction demands as the driver puts the car through its controllable range of operation, to say one system performs the "best" vs. some other system directly implies that it will outperform those other systems in all conditions. Unfortunately the HICAS system does not meet the requirements in all conditions to accurately state that it is the "best" when compared to the other traction control systems that are available in other vehicles today.
